Description
The Warranty Computer Repair service diagnoses and replaces broken components in Dell computers that are still under warranty.
Functionality/Benefits
This service is provided at no external cost to the customer and provides a quicker response. The warranty is included in the purchase price of the computer system purchased through the NU computer purchase program. This service allows the computer to be fixed on-site instead of having to be shipped off-site for repair.
Service Level Options
Extended Warranty: users can chose to pay extra to have the warranty extended to the maximum of 5 years.
Pro IT Support: users can change the extended warranty to Pro IT support, which includes the benefit of a special phone number that provides less than 5 min hold time for support requests.

Hours of Availability
Support is provided by Information Services during Service Desk hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Saturday, except during holidays and intersession. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the Service Desk at 617-373-4357. Drop off repair work for students available through ResNet.
