Description
Network Port Moves, Adds and Changes service provides Faculty, Staff and Students new NUnet Quads, Resnet Quads or Husky Cable jacks installed, moved or ports activated.
Functionality/Benefits
Provides access to the Northeastern campus data network. The network provides high-bandwidth and high-availability connections to computing resources across campus. Customers must submit a form to the Information Services Service Desk indicating what items they want and authorizing payment for the services requested.

Service is available during normal University business Hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.

Support is provided by Information Services during normal University business hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the NTS Service Manager.

Charges for this service vary depending on needs of the customer.

For non-construction project based network move and installation requests, a Budget Transfer Authorization (BTA) request form will need to be completed and emailed to the Service Desk (help@neu.edu) for processing. The BTA form can be found on the Information Services web site here.
