NUnet Computer Standardization and Offering

Information Services works with our computer vendors to provide a base configuration that can be ordered and used by the University community in their offices to access the full suite of applications offered by the University. The machines are delivered from the manufacturer pre-configured to work on Northeastern's NUnet domain and to take advantage of all of the benefits it has to offer like applications, printing and network/internet access.

A benefit to ordering a NUnet machine is the user is given automatic access to the Northeastern Application suite and other shared network resources. Information Services maintains and updates a set of standard images, specific to the supported models, that is then installed on Northeastern owned machines.
