Description
The Instant Messaging service allows users to communicate and collaborate with the Northeastern University community through an instant messaging client, both stand-alone and web based are available. Service also provides the ability to transfer files, a secure chat functionality, emoticons, create screen captures, location awareness, and announcements.

Service is available 24 x 7 x 365, except during planned maintenance and upgrades.
