What is CMS?

Campus Media Services provides and maintains audio/visual equipment at Northeastern University's main Boston campus. We can provide equipment for both classroom use and special events, offer technical assistance as needed, and conduct training sessions in the use of A/V equipment.

How can I contact CMS?

CMS can be contacted via the help line (x4357) or by fax at x8377. You can also come directly to our office in the InfoCommons.

Dialing x4357 will connect you to the HELP line's main menu.
For difficulties with audio/visual equipment in a classroom, press 1.

How can I schedule equipment for use in a classroom?

You can download and fill out an Equipment Request Form and fax it to us at x8377.

Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be scheduled only after your form is completed and verified.

The demand for equipment increases at the start of every term. Plan ahead! Order early.

How can I schedule equipment/classrooms for special events?

We recommend that you speak with one of our helpful staff members to make sure that you can get the equipment you need. Call x4357 for assistance.

Please note: CMS only provides audiovisual equipment for special events. Booking the room or facility, arranging for catering, and other duties must all be handled by the event coordinator.
